For the first three months of 2022 I produced three “statement” linocuts showing the main causes of pollution in the River Wye. Intensive chicken and pig farming along the catchment area of the river and the legal/illegal discharge of untreated waste water has caused untold damage to the river’s ecosystem.
Kingfishers are unable to feed when the algal bloom clouds the river, the once flourishing beds of water crowfoot are now severely depleted and the pristine river bed with its insect life is being threatened by the worsening pollution.
The three linocuts have been exhibited in the Mall Galleries (London), Nature in Art (Gloucester), WWT Slimbridge and the Stapleford Granary Art Centre in Cambridgeshire.
If you have seen any linocuts that you would like to purchase, would like to enquire more about my current work or even purchase some greetings cards, then please don't hesitate to mail or call me.
If you should find yourself in the Forest of Dean and would like to see my linocuts at first hand (there would be some framed prints available to purchase too) then please telephone to arrange a visit.
